negative rake bowl scrapers

I purchase my Stratos XL lathe and Vicmarc 8″ CBN grinding station from Hope- both excellent bits of kit.Having watched some reviews of the negative rake bowl scrapers, I called Simon Hope for advice. I purchased the Negative rake bowl scrapers combo set and the Deluxe quick release handle.I asked Simon about sharpening the negative rake- he directed me to the Hope setting guides for an 8″ wheel grinder- brilliant, inexpensive and very easy to use.I am very impressed with the scrapers- quality tools. They do exactly what they are supposed to do, and with ease. The weight of the tools result in really easy and accurate control.The Deluxe quick release handle is excellent material quality. Really ‘quick’ to change tools, and the medium size is very comfortable to hold and control.The advice- as usual, was practical, independent and impartial. Delivery was smooth and like all my experiences with Hope Woodturning- it does what it says on the tin.Excellent company.
